Use The Mechanism of Surrender for Faster Manifestation
Find the way you relax into life and do it more!
You wouldn’t think Mediumship and Manifestation would be related, but they are, and here’s how…
In psychic readings I’m “reaching out” in my energy to read someone’s energy. I’m reporting what I perceive. In a sense, although I am receiving, I am a reporter. In the same way, when the hors d'oeuvre tray comes by, I receive the snacky bits, but I have to reach out to pick them up.
Psychism has a reaching-out feel to it, and Mediumship is just the opposite.
Purposeful Mediumship, as I do for reading, is opening my energy and relaxing to perceive who is present, who they are there for [if it’s a group reading], and then delivering what they GIVE to me. I’m not reaching forward at all, and in fact, when I do, I fuck it all up.
Resistance to surrender and relaxation slows down or prohibits manifesting your desires.
Our own resistance to change, perfectly normal BTW, slows us down and can even derail our train headed to money town entirely. The more we can relax, the easier it is to deliberately hold and resonate with the energy of what we want—most of my audience is working on money issues, so we’ll stay with this area of self-improvement, but this applies to everything: relationships, career, and health.
One of my teachers asked another student who was struggling - what is the mechanism of your surrender - and it was like a gong going off in my head. This person was in their head, which choked off information almost immediately.
Mediumship is a dance of awareness and discernment - slipping into Mind, relaxing back out into the information, experiencing doubt and tensing up, catching it and relaxing back into the flow. Back and forth, round and round, coming back to the information coming through, delivering it, and going back into receiving mode for more, etc.
Does this make sense?
The mechanism of surrender is the literal HOW you personally let go so you can be a more fluid and clear channel for Spirit.
For me, it is literal self-talk. I notice the energy dropping and things getting foggy. I feel my Mind “reach out” and try to make sense of or start analyzing or wondering what it means, and the fog gets worse. I literally have to tell myself - let go, let go, let them speak - take a breath and fall back into trusting the process, and the information starts to flow again.
After sitting with how this feels internally, it became clear that this process is exactly the same for staying present with life itself while you’re transitioning from one level to another.
We want to increase our income and immediately tense up. We know this happens, and that’s why my Train Your Body to Wealth program is all about acclimating your nervous system to that sweet moolah and becoming comfortable with being uncomfortable.
But this level of surrender is deeper than that and requires more trust. When developing psychic and mediumship skills, you learn, through many trials and errors, to trust the process. This happened when I was a therapist as well. Often, in the beginning, I would think the session was a disaster, and it always turned out to be as perfect as it could be. Not because I was such a brilliant therapist but because Life is always trying to find the path to wholeness, and when we get the hell out of the way, magical things can happen.
When you trust these processes, it’s easier to let go, and this is also true for prosperity work.
When we can let go and trust that when we hold the energy signature of wealth on our energy field long enough, we WILL see tangible results in time. Along the way, we practice learning our own systems so well that we feel it immediately when we get some extra cash, and our nervous systems want to get rid of it because it’s so uncomfortable to hold more than we are used to holding.
When we detect the tension quickly, we can intervene with breathwork, mindset work, and other calming techniques to hold the awareness of the tension more easily.
So, what is your mechanism of surrender?
How do you relax into the uncomfortable times along the way to sustainable change?
How do you, or do you trust these processes will get you to where you want to go?
