NO. I call bullshit on this outdated nonsense.
We’ve been fed a story that being a spiritual, altruistic, empathic, and heart-centered person means not being paid. This lie makes it hard to do business successfully because you're meant to hem and haw about pricing, income, and wealth. You’re set up to be stuck in a tangle of needing money to survive so you can offer your gifts to the world but feel incredibly guilty if you admit to wanting to be paid for those services so you can survive but feel…ugh.
When you start to untangle this mess and see how deeply entwined it is with every breath you take, it can feel pretty awful!
Being spiritual and sensitive means being broke - a line often sold by people happy to take your money for their programs, even if it means you take on ridiculous amounts of debt. Oh, the irony!
When you invest the time and effort to finally start making money you find yourself downplaying it, feeling bad about it, and spending it fast so you never have to admit you're getting rich or deal with other people’s jealousy.
Serve all the people, but do it only while you slowly starve. Shame those around you who grow big. Resent those around you who achieve wealth while serving the world. Call them sell-outs. Call them cold, callous, and uncaring.
Even worse...call them capitalists, *GASP*!
I say no to this diabolical plan that has effectively crippled so many people who embody Love and want only to help and share their talents with the world.
YOU CAN BE BOTH!
YOU MUST BE BOTH!
Will you really let them keep feeding you these lies?
Will you really go back to a career you hate rather than decondition yourself from these bullshit stories?
Will you really take your glorious gifts to the grave by not setting aside the shame that DOESN’T EVEN BELONG TO YOU?
If you have skills to sell - SELL!
You have the same right to sell your wares as anyone else!
If you don't - if you let the Liars win - the people who so desperately need your unique medicine also starve.
Feed yourself well. Feed your people well. Go sell your shit.
Because here’s the deal:
If you want to build a house, you've got to get comfortable with using tools.
If you want a child, get used to sleepless nights and dirty diapers.
If you want to change the world - get comfortable with money-making.
You can't help anyone by avoiding a system you don't understand.
When you reject our current system of sales and marketing and making money, you throw away your chance to change it. You allow it to continue unmonitored, unchecked, unchanged.
When you embrace and perpetuate Poverty Pride, you play right into the hands of a system that prefers you leave it alone.
When you stay blind to the need for money to operate successfully in this very real 3D reality, you take on a judgmental and holier-than-thou attitude toward those who pursue the tools to build a house big enough for everyone to enjoy.
Change the system from within.
Learn it so well that you mold it to the shape of your heart. You know, the heart that wants everyone to have more than enough?
You can't give what you don't have and refuse to pursue.
You want to help people thrive?
Get comfortable with cash.
Embrace the lead - transform it into gold.
Being sensitive DOES mean you’re, well…sensitive! You feel energies, perceive energies, your Body frequently blocks awareness of energies, different than those who aren’t tuned up like you.
Different = Danger = Death.
Money is a powerfully strong and fasat-flowing energy and if your system is used to blocking energies that trigger intense physical sensations well then guess what - money is going to be a struggle to get and then maintain.
Money can feel invasive. Money may feel assaultive. Money might feel rapey as it penetrates a system that doesn’t know how to handle it.
So what do you do about it?
Train your Body to Wealth. The sensations of having it, holding it, releasing it, and bring more in. You can learn that with me in a course I teach that actually gets results and you can also do it on your own.
You can start a daily practice of noticing how your Body responds to money when you suddenly get some. How fast does it slip away through sudden crises or unconscious spending?
How often do you blame the ills of the world on the wealthy? How often do you pay attention to those with wealth who are doing great things in the world vs. pushing against the handful that are wrecking the world?
If wealthy people are rotten, no good, jerks do you think you’ll ever let yourself have more than just barely enough? How can you earn enough to be called wealthy if being wealthy means turning into some horrible?
When you’re aware of these unconscious patterns and sensations then you can practice getting used to them so you can receive more money with ease. And then you get to fund projects you believe in, sell programs you love not just those that pay the bills, and create social change in the circles which require money to get into.
Becoming wealthy might just be the most deliciously subversive thing you’ve ever done!
Money in the hands of people with a community focus can save us all - it’s time figure this out and change the dynamics of the financial systems on this planet. The change starts with you!
So. no, you aren’t doomed to being broke because you can train in the sensations of wealth. Over time it starts rolling in and you get to use money for truly wonderful things. That’s how powerful you are!
XO,
LMW
