"When you refuse love and light to your inner demons, you become as toxic and twisted as any warlord on your planet.
The starving inner has become the starving outer.
The repressed inner violence is expressed outwardly because energy will not be confined with ropes of cruelty.
Try as you might you cannot shove it all away on the outside when the source is generated within."
They are talking this morning about daily micro decisions. Those subtle things we allow to perpetuate inner cruelty and violence.
Micro decisions to allow micro acts of violence look like this:
Not going to pee when first necessary.
Saying yes when we mean no.
Forcing ourselves to engage in sales tactics that make us feel ill rather than learn appropriate ways to sell.
Refusing to allow ourselves appropriate levels if wealth.
Allowing ourselves to view the world in this or that, yes or no, my way or no way terms.
Allowing ourselves to go without the basics of everyday life.
Not tending to our home environments.
Allowing too much sugar, too much caffeine, too much alcohol. Too many substances that create madness in the mind.
Allowing other people's stories to influence how we see ourselves.
Allowing other people's imagined reactions to limit what we allow ourselves to express.
Not eating when when hungry. Eating too much when not.
Staying on our cell phones when our bodies are crying for peaceful silence and time outdoors.
These decisions to take action or allow inaction, and many more, are micro acts of violence. This inner violence must be faced if we are to slow down or, dare we dream, stop the escalating violence outside.
We can't personally intervene in current wars to a great degree, but we absolutely can address the war within right here and right now.
Pas aujourd’hui Satan, pas aujord'hui.
Not today, Satan applies to us, and I have a sticker on a computer that's been there for years to train me out of inner acts of violence.
This is always a discussion that gets lots of head nods and light bulbs going off but often it stops there.
True transformation means that in the moment Addiction comes calling, you refuse to answer. You hold the intense craving in your arms and cry with it for all the unmet needs in the whole wide world.
Only love transmutes violence into a peaceful and balanced holding of all things good and evil.
Start today choosing to lovingly embrace the destructive forces. Reach out and own the inner awfulness. We all have it, and we can all learn to love it into peace.

LMW
