Can you imagine if a streaming service - Netflix, Spotify, iTunes - decided to only play the shows you played a week ago or a decade ago? No matter how much you asked for new stories and new music you could only access the past.
How long would you let that go on before canceling your subscription and sending a strongly worded email to management?
You, as a human being, are a livestreaming entity.
You are a receiving tower. Information and inspiration are swirling around you at all times. Whether or not you receive it and allow it to become conscious is dependent on so many factors.
Are you making space for silence often enough that you can perceive new information?
Is the possibility of non-local consciousness and communication allowed in your current worldview?
Are you numbed out with weed, food, social media?
Here's the bottom line:
You are not meant to play only the stories of the past.
Stories about mistakes.
Stories about loss and failure.
Stories about that one time at band camp.
If your Familiar Bad Feeling Place is operating outside of your awareness then your brain can't access anything fresh and new. Doors are literally closed to you. Any attempt at creating a new identity will be shut down immediately.
Send a strongly worded email to internal management that you're willing to wake up to your own shenanigans.
Ask a lot of questions around your level of awareness.
Acknowledge events.
Acknowledge emotional reactions.
Let it flow through.
Reframe.
Rebuild.
Receive more.
Flow forward.
XO,
LMW
