Sales is a lot like fishing. π£ππ π£π
No one going fishing is guaranteed to catch a fish, and it's understood from the get-go: maybe you catch a fish, maybe you catch a sunburn.
You go for the company, to be outside, to relax but still feel productive, etc. But you don't go thinking you're for sure going to catch anything!
Big-name people experience flat disappointing launches. I personally know several - sometimes it exceeds the goal, and sometimes it tanks.
Just like fishing.
You do what you can: prepare, bring the right bait, estimate the weather and time of day, hone your skills, etc., then show up.
And thatβs ALL you can do, whether fishing or selling services or products.
Understand that low sales are sometimes a random thing. So we go back and review, try a few other things, make some tweaks here and there, and try again.
Just like fishing.
If you crumple at the thought of putting out effort again and again and not being able to predict or guarantee results, then having a business, online or IRL, is not a good career choice for you.
You show up.
You get training.
You practice.
You fall.
You get up.
You fall.
You fall.
You fall.
You get the f%*k back up and try again.
Over time you will make sales, but you can't make one or two offers and decide it doesn't work.
You keep going until you find what does work! (Where my Human Design Line 3s at??)
This year I've grown so much I'm turning my LLC into an S Corp. I'm very close to breaking that 6 figure mark for the first time ever in my life, and I got my first job at 14 years old.
It's taken me EIGHT years to pull this off in my own company.
And even if I weren't hitting the mark this year, I would still get back up.
Do an honest assessment of your willingness to fall down and get back up again.
There's no shame in not monetizing everything you're good at or having a "regular" career.
Chances are you already know what to do but aren't doing it.
Chances are your mind has you on a merry-go-round of searching for the next coach or book, or program rather than just showing up again and again and sharing what you know. You WILL get there!

P.S. We don't cover business in my 40-day course, Train Your Body to Wealth, but what you'll learn definitely applies. We start on August 16th.
